Interactive workshop to help teams with Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and how they differ in a UK workplace context.
By the end of this 2 hour workshop, participants will:
- Understand the core concepts of Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and how they differ in a UK workplace context
- Gain clarity on how EDI aligns with the Equality Act 2010, including protected characteristics and employer responsibilities
- Recognise why equality and equity are essential for fair treatment, legal compliance and employee progression
- Explore how diversity improves representation, decision-making and organisational credibility
- Understand the role of inclusion in creating a culture of belonging, psychological safety and performance
- Identify practical ways to promote equality, equity, diversity and inclusion within recruitment and workplace practices using real life case studies and discussions
