MyBigCareer is a charity that supports the employability of young people aged 11-18 from the least advantaged backgrounds in London and the North East of England.
Our careers guidance and employability programme, active in 50 schools, breaks down barriers to future employment and inequality of opportunity by helping young people know about career paths from an earlier age, be guided by inspirational people, and be equipped with the skills future employers will seek.
We empower students aged 11-18, eligible for Free School Meals, to make future plans shaped to their interests and skills – not academic ability – with classroom sessions introducing the working world, 1:1 coaching, employability workshops and workplace experiences with employers.
